GAC India has been named Haldia’s Top Steamer Agent, handling the highest number of dry bulk and break bulk cargo at the port for 2022-2023. It is the first time the company has clinched the top spot, after two years at No.2.
This award recognises the company’s outstanding performance as a ship agent, as well as the fact that it handled the most port calls at Haldia Dock Complex from April 2022 to March 2023.
Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port (formerly Kolkata Port Trust) presented the company with the award during a Trade Felicitation Meeting in the presence of Shri Shantanu Thakur, Honorable Minister of State, Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Government of India.
Established in 1983, GAC India is now a leading provider of shipping and logistics services throughout the country with 27 offices, covering all major and minor ports.
